The most recent 2018 Chrysler Pacifica marketing campaign looks to target California with a full-spectrum media blitz. The Golden State-geared advertisements will focus on the Hybrid models in particular. The state’s symbols will also be used as a strong form of symbolism drawing a connection between the Eureka state and the Pacifica’s most popular trim option in the region. After all, the Chrysler Pacifica is the markets only electric hybrid minivan.
Why California?
California is a hybrid manufacture’s dream marketplace. “Forty percent of all hybrids are sold in the state of California — it’s also the biggest minivan market in the country — so it makes perfect sense that we say the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the ‘Official Family Vehicle for California,’” claims Tim Kuniskis, FCA – North America. Chrysler Brand is now pushing its Plug-in Hybrid minivan as the “Official Family Vehicle for California.” The ads will include broadcasting, print, radio, social media, and even billboards across the state. The full 360-degree campaign will include California’s state bird, the valley quail, the state animal, the grizzly bear, the state reptile, the desert tortoise, and even the state’s rock, the serpentine.
