The new Dodge package options are sure shaking things up for the Dodge//SRT. According to the Head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge//SRT has a long history of providing custom looks straight from the factory thanks to the high-impact colors, unique graphics. This year, Dodge answered customer demands with the impressive Shakedown package. Along with the Shakedown Package, which was inspired by the 1971 Dodge Shakedown Challenger that recently debuted at the 2016 SEMA show, Dodge brought back two iconic colors B5 Blue and Plum Crazy.
One of the great things about the Shakedown Package is it allows you to customize your new Dodge without having to worry about aftermarket modifications or prices. With the Shakedown Package, Dodge seamlessly mixed together with modern styling with old-school muscle. The Shakedown Package offers asymmetrical black racing stripes that flow across the exterior of the car. Inside, the audio system has been upgraded to an Alpine system with six or nine speakers and a 275 or 506-watt amp, and a bold instrument cluster featuring white-faced gauges.
Currently, the Shakedown Package is only available on the following Challenger Models: Challenger R/T Shaker, Challenger R/T Plus Shaker, and the Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker. The Challenger R/T Shaker is the basic model and features the six-speaker upgraded system with the 275-watt amp. Both the Challenger R/T Plus Shaker and the Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker feature the nine-speaker upgraded Alpine system with a 506-watt amp.
