The Wrangler’s awesome steering and off-road capabilities help Goldblum outmaneuver the ferocious dinosaur, helping it duck behind the T-rex and start chasing it instead. This year’s new 2018 Jeep Wrangler offers a new interior design, the option for an upgraded turbocharged engine, and the newest UConnect® infotainment system. Under this year’s hood is the 3.6-liter V-6 capable of 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft of torque. Paired with that engine are two transmission options including a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. As an alternative engine choice, you can opt for a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. This option comes complete with the eight-speed automatic transmission.
The four trims options for this year are the Wrangler Sport, the Wrangler Sport S, the Wrangler Sahara, and the Wrangler Rubicon. Starting with the most basic trim option, the Sport, this classic model offers a new rearview camera, USB ports, and keyless starting. For an upgrade you can opt for the 2018 Wrangler Sport S which provides power doors and locks, as well as single-zone air conditioning. The Wrangler Sahara and Wrangler Rubicon are considered among the best of the best. These are the trim options you want for larger wheels, more USB ports, the 115-volt auxiliary outlet, dual-zone climate controls, and so much more.
