During the recent LA Auto Show, Mopar decided to showcase over 200 products with two personalized 2018 Mopar modified Jeep Wrangler displays. Mopar used a four-door 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and the two-door 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Both of these models were fully customized with accessories and Jeep performance parts available from Mopar. More than 100,000 hours went into developing, validating, and testing these modifications. The good news is that most of the parts featured on the modified vehicles will be available for consumer’s to purchase when the vehicles arrive in dealerships.
The four-door 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is already known for its off-roading capability. Adding Mopar parts and accessories simply enhances the vehicles most popular feature. The display found at the LA Auto Show features a set of 2-inch round steel tube doors with a Mojito Green exterior. The thicker and wider rock rails provide a layer of protection for serious off-road actions. A 2-inch lift kit paired with high top fender flares provides optimal off-road clearance. New LED off-road lights provide a maximum of 8,000 lumens that are mounted to the frame.
The two-door 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport featured at the LA Auto Show showed off a Mopar roof-rack, which was the first ever for a Jeep Wrangler. The rack was mounted to the hardtop and features a cargo carrier to help transport gear and equipment. The hardtop headliner was redesigned to better insulate the indie of the vehicle and offer a quieter ride. The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport also features a Mopar tailgate table, a CHSML light relocation kit and off-road LED lights, a 2-inch lift kit and tube steps.
